Two students named Monirul and Sarafat tragically died in a road accident at Choumashia Dhunjail junction in Naogaon

Two students, Monirul Islam (23) and Sarafat Hossain (22), died after their motorcycle collided with a battery-powered auto charger at Dhunjail junction in Chaumashi of Mahadevpur upazila in Naogaon. The tragic accident took place on Sunday around 6:30 pm at the former sugar mill of the upazila, Dhanjail intersection. The deceased is the son of Mahmudul Hasan of Jaipur Sardarpara village of Sarafatul upazila and a student of Islamic history at Dhaka College. His father is Mahmudul Hasan and son of Mobarak Hossain of Gonfanagar village of Monirul Islam upazila and a student of Shibpur Barendra Degree College. It is known on the ground that the deceased were coming home from Naogaon on a motorcycle after finishing their work around 6:30 pm today. At that time, after crossing the Nowhata intersection, at the Dhanjail intersection, there was a head-on collision with a charger coming from the opposite direction. At that time, they fell from the motorcycle and died on the spot. Immediately after receiving the news, the local Nohata Mor Outpost police visited the spot and recovered the body. Confirming the truth of the incident, Mahadevpur police station officer-in-charge Hasmat Ali said, the legal process is ongoing in the incident.
