Inauguration of Summer Sports Competition at Dhamirhat

The 51st National Schools, Madrasahs and Technical Education Institutions Summer Sports Competition was inaugurated in Dhamirhat Upazila of Naogaon on Monday (October 7). Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Asma Khatun was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of this sports competition at the level of secondary education institutions. In the speech of the guest, UNO Asma Khatun said, "Sports competition is very important for the physical and mental development of students. Through this students not only acquire physical capabilities, but also develop their mental strength and leadership qualities.” He urged the students to increase their skills by participating in regular sportsAcademic Supervisor Kajal Kumar Sarkar, Headmaster of Dhamirhat Sophia Pilot High School Abdur Rahman, and physical education teachers of various educational institutions along with members of Fire Service and Civil Defense participated in the summer sports competition of chess, open swimmingChit swimming, butterfly swimming, relay swimming, breaststroke and kabaddi games are organized.The final match of the Kabaddi game will be held tomorrow (October 8). After that at 3 pm, the prize will be distributed among the winners, according to the organizers.
