Beef-Stuffed Shells with Creamy Ricotta Filling

Ingredients:


12 jumbo pasta shells 🍝

1 lb ground beef 🥩

1 cup ricotta cheese 🧀

1 cup marinara sauce 🍅

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded 🧀

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 🧀

1 egg 🥚

1 tsp Italian seasoning 🌿

Salt and pepper to taste 🧂


Directions:


Preheat the Oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).


Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta shells according to package instructions, drain, and let cool.


Prepare the Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce and remove from heat.


Make the Ricotta Filling: In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.


Stuff the Shells: Fill each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture, then place them in a baking dish.


Assemble and Bake: Top each shell with the beef mixture, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.


Finish Baking: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
